Mrs. Kristin Dierking To All Instructors

My name is Kristin Dierking. I live in Elburn with my husband, Ryan, and our 4 kids, Dylan, Kylie, Bryce, and Ellie. I have been on this amazing journey of homeschooling since 2015. We have been a part of several co-ops over the years and joined the Heritage family in fall of 2022! 

I was born and raised in Elgin, IL and have lived in the Fox Valley area most of my life. I attended Baylor University in TX and after getting married, moved back to IL and graduated from Judson College. I taught high school English right out of college, and then had a real estate business during the early pre-kid years of our marriage. Currently, my full time job is raising (and teaching) my kids. :) 

My hobbies are reading, teaching exercise classes, and music. I sing and play drums on our church's worship team, and sing in our family band...and LOVE playing music with my kids. 

This coming year, I am blessed to be teaching Government and Economics at Heritage. I love History, especially American History, and have a passion to teach our kids the contents and importance of the U.S. Constitution and the amazing framework of government that our founding fathers developed to establish freedom and prosperity in this beautiful country of ours. 
I am also blessed to be sponsoring Music Club and Band and look forward to facilitating students playing music together in a "band" setting and developing skills in worship leading  .
