Mrs. Bridget Aguado To All Instructors

I am thrilled to teach Spanish and Physical Education at Heritage again this year.  Since I was young, I always wanted to be a teacher.  I earned a bachelor's degree at Taylor University and became certified to teach Physical Education and Spanish.  I also played intercollegiate tennis and basketball for Taylor.  Then I taught in the Chicagoland area schools for over fifteen years.  I've also coached varsity tennis and basketball.  While teaching, to further my career, I earned my master's degree in Exercise Science.
Three years ago, God led our family to make the decision to step away from the schools and to begin homeschooling.  Even though we are somewhat a newer family, we are happy to be part of such a great homeschool community.  Overall, it has been a smooth transition for our family.  It is an honor to teach every subject from a Biblical perspective.
I am blessed to be married to my husband Luis and to be educating our three children; Noah, Josiah, and Hannah.  In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends.  Every so often, we love to travel to Mexico to visit our large extended family.  You may also find me playing my new game on the pickleball court.
Teaching has always been a passion of mine.  I enjoy helping young ones make smart decisions mentally, socially, physically, and spiritually.  Also giving others the opportunity to learn the Spanish language and culture is such a joy.  Seeing the smiles of success on my student's faces is so rewarding.  Thank you for the opportunity to continue teaching Spanish and Physical Education at Heritage.
