Mrs. Raina McGrath To All Instructors

I live in Bartlett with my husband of 33 years. We have been blessed to be able to homeschool our 3 sons through highschool. They have pursued careers in ministry, social work and the electrical trade. After becoming an empty-nester I have had the desire to continue helping other homeschool parents to teach their children. I have found that I love teaching your students and it is also a way I can give back to the loving community that helped me train my children. My deepest desire is to continue to "train children up in the way they should go", and prepare them for a life that glorifies the Lord.

My life before children consisted of serving 4 1/2 years in the US AirForce and 1 1/2 years in cardiac ultrasound. After coming home I continued instructing fitness classes and personal training. I've been a certified group exercise trainer for 30 years and continue to teach pilates and train a few clients. I find the body God has given us to be one of the most amazing creations He has made and points to the evidence of our Almighty God. I am hoping to share some of my life experience with our students in light of Who made them through science and fitness classes.
