I've been teaching Art to home schooled children for over 20 years & have been with Heritage since it's inception. I have a passion both for Art, and for teaching, especially in such a wonderful Christian environment! I consider it an honor & a privelage to be able to teach & do what I love!

I've been married to my husband Mike for over 35 years. Our daughter Marisa & son-in-law Chris have a beautiful little girl named Natalie... our sweet & much adored grandchild.

I came to know the Lord in Spirit & in truth when I was born again at the age of 18. I've been walking with Him ever since & attend church at Calvary Chapel.

I love God's Word & have spent my entire adult life reading it & striving to obey it & learning how to apply it in my life.

I discovered years ago that teaching is one of my spiritual gifts. I've taught Sunday school at my church, as well as Women's Bible Studies for many years.

Since my faith & relationship with God is the most important aspect of my life, I continually seek His guidance in my life & in my teaching... & strive to reflect His love to all my students. I believe God is the "Ultimate Artist" as our Creator & the Designer of all beauty. I encourage my students to grow in & practice their own artistic gifts & the talents God has given them.

Besides teaching Art, I've also been self-employed as a muralist for over 25 years, for both residential & commercial clients. I've painted murals in various schools, restaurants, doctor offices & even Sherman Hospital.
