Mrs. Erika Check To All Instructors

I have been blessed to be able to work in private, public and homeschools throughout the past 14 years. I received a B.A. in Chemistry from Taylor University and began the first 7 years of my career in the pharmaceutical industry. I also earned a M.I.S. from DePaul University because I never wanted to be intimidated by computers before staying home with my 2 daughters while they were growing up. We had the privilege to go to Heritage for 3 years, which is where I started teaching and loved it so much that I went back to school to get my official certification. We are a big science family, as my husband is a physics major and enjoys keeping up with the latest sciences as well. I am currently endorsed in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Computer Applications, and ESL. I have had the privilege to teach chemistry, physics, biology, genetics & biotechnology, forensics, physical science, and math games.

I go to Harvest Bible Chapel in Rolling Meadows and love Jesus first and foremost and am so excited for the freedom to share His hope and love to our amazing young Heritage students. My mission is to empower and equip students for science and life.
