Mrs. Cara Crumrine To All Instructors

I am married to my best friend Dan, and mother to three kids. As a homeschool graduate myself, I have enjoyed homeschooling my children since they were small. I am a part time nurse at a hospital in central Illinois. I currently work as their nursing excellence designation program director. I have a master's degree in nursing education as of 2025! I have taught science in homeschool settings for over 15 years and am delighted to teach at Heritage.

I love to incorporate unique learning opportunities into the curriculum whether it be creative assignments, games, labs, or other activities. I am passionate about science and love learning about how God created the world around us through scientific inquiry. I love coffee, reading, playing board games and watching movies.
