Mrs. Christina Crum To All Instructors

My husband, Chris, and I have been married for almost 18 years and we have been homeschooling our 3 children for the past 11 years. Homeschooling was not something that I ever even thought about until our oldest was about to start kindergarten. We even moved into a “better school district” so our kids could have a better education. But God had other plans!

I have a bachelor’s degree in Child Development with a minor in Biology from NIU. I was a Child Life Specialist at a children’s hospital in San Antonio, Texas for a few years after undergrad until I decided to go to PA school back up here at Midwestern University in Downers Grove. I have been practicing as a Physician Assistant at a community health center part time for the past 19 years.

Even though I was allopathically trained, I’ve always had an interest in natural and alternative therapies and have studied them on my own. Homeopathy just came under my radar a few years ago and now I don’t go anywhere without my remedies!

Psychology is such an interesting topic and relevant in every area of life, even more in our technology filled world today. It’s important to have a firm foundation in our faith and know how God views this subject. I’m excited to delve into this subject matter more!
