Mrs. Angela Gouwens To All Instructors

Angela Gouwens loves teaching and incorporating activities and projects to make learning fun. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and a Biblical Counseling certification. She also has a certification in proofreading.

In the fall of 2025, Angela's daughter, and her friends, started a school newspaper called, "The Heritage Monthly" Throughout the 2025-2026 school year, the Newspaper Club produced a monthly paper. The paper included feature articles, teacher and student interviews, alumni highlights, student polls, and more!

Angela has enjoyed seeing the students' creativity and excitement! She is excited to continue the newspaper for the 2026-2027 school year and incorporate lessons on journalism, writing and editing.

Angela and her husband, Nick, have three children – Kylie, Jonathan, and Brynn. They have been homeschooling since 2016. Angela has enjoyed fostering a love of learning in her kids and pointing them to Christ in every subject they study. Outside of school and teaching, Angela enjoys biking, Pilates, singing, and planning parties.
